As a parent of four children, parenting is obviously a big part of our lives and we are often left questioning is there a better way, are we leading our kids and teaching them in the best way possible.

I know most of my readers are parents, too, so when US Family Guide let me know about this opportunity I knew I wanted to share it with all of you.

Here is the copy of the email I got from my contact at US Family Guide:

This is a public service announcement.  As a way to connect with families of young children, Bright Horizons has created the Parent Webinar Series. Exploring topics from toilet training, to reading, to social responsibility, we have reached out to thousands of families and shared our expertise.

We are happy to announce our next parent webinar:

Discipline for Young Children
Tuesday, October 2, 2012
8:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. EDT

Figuring out how to discipline your child is one of the most daunting tasks of parenthood. Is time out the only choice? Do sticker charts really work? What do I do if my child has a tantrum at the grocery store?

Join Linda Mason, Bright Horizons co-founder and author of The Working Mother’s Guide to Life as she answers questions on appropriate discipline techniques for children under the age of 5. We have been collecting your parenting questions and dilemmas and will provide you with strategies and clear steps to take when your child needs a bit of redirection.
